The Bray Area Partnership (BAP) hosted Minister for Health and local TD, Simon Harris and members of the Youth Mental Health Network at their offices on 5th April for the official announcement that a Jigsaw Youth Mental Health Service for Wicklow will open in Bray this year.
Ronan and members from Cairdeas Clubhouse have been involved in the Youth Mental Health Network for a couple of years. The community groups, services and educators involved in the network have been working hard for even longer than this to develop a whole community approach to youth mental health and wellbeing in the local area, and to bring a Jigsaw youth mental health project to the Bray area.
Well done to everybody in the community who have worked hard over the years to secure this brilliant outcome for the young people of County Wicklow. We in Cairdeas look forward to working closely with the new Jigsaw service, and we feel our services will complement each other very well.
